Terms of Service

These terms govern your use of Klok, provided by BeyondBoxAI Technologies Pvt. Ltd. (“we”, “us”), a company incorporated in India. By creating an account you agree to them. If you are agreeing on behalf of a company, you confirm you are authorised to bind it.

1. What you get

A subscription to Klok as a hosted service, for the modules on your plan, for as many employees as your plan covers. We may improve and change the service; we will not remove a material capability you are paying for without telling you first.

2. Trial

Trials run 14 days and need no card. At the end you either subscribe or the account stops. We keep trial data for a short grace period so a late decision does not cost you your setup work, then delete it.

3. Plans, billing and taxes

Plans are Trial, Starter, Complete and Enterprise. Current prices are on the pricing page; you pay what was shown when you subscribed.
Billing is per active employee, per month, in Indian rupees, in advance. Employees added mid-cycle are billed pro rata; modules you switch off are not billed.
Prices exclude GST, which is charged as applicable.
We give at least 30 days' notice before a price change affecting an existing subscription, and it takes effect at your next renewal — never mid-term.
If payment fails we will tell you and keep the account running for a grace period before suspending it. We do not delete data because an invoice is late.

4. Your data is yours

You own everything you put into Klok. We claim no ownership of your employee records, documents or payroll history, and we do not use one customer's data for another's benefit or to train AI models.

You can export your data at any time without asking us. If you leave, you may export everything during the wind-down window; after that we delete it, save for anything the law requires us to retain. How we handle personal data is set out in the Privacy Policy, which forms part of these terms.

5. Your responsibilities

Keep account credentials secure and tell us promptly if you suspect misuse.
Make sure you are lawfully entitled to put your employees' data into Klok, and that you have given them whatever notice your obligations as their employer require.
Use Klok for lawful workplace purposes. Do not attempt to breach the tenancy boundary, probe or attack the service, resell access, or upload malware.
You remain responsible for your statutory filings. Klok calculates, drafts and formats — PF, ESI, PT, TDS and the rest — and a human at your end reviews and files. Which is the same rule the product is built on: the AI does the work, the human validates.

6. What the AI does, and does not

Klok's AI reads documents and drafts records. It does not commit anything on its own — every AI-drafted value waits for a person to confirm it. Drafts can be wrong; the confirmation step is where that is caught, and it is your team's step. We do not warrant that AI output is correct or that it constitutes legal, tax or accounting advice.

7. Availability and support

We aim to keep Klok available at all times and publish status at /status. Planned maintenance is scheduled outside Indian business hours wherever we can, with notice for anything disruptive. Support is by email and WhatsApp on the details at /contact. Where your plan or a signed order includes specific service levels, those apply in preference to this clause.

8. Confidentiality

Each of us will protect the other's confidential information and use it only to make this agreement work. Ours includes non-public details of the service; yours includes your business and employee data.

9. Liability

Nothing here limits liability for fraud, wilful misconduct, death or personal injury, or anything else that cannot be limited under Indian law. Otherwise, and to the extent the law allows: neither of us is liable for indirect or consequential loss, or loss of profit, revenue or goodwill; and our total liability arising out of the service is limited to the fees you paid us in the twelve months before the claim.

10. Suspension and termination

You may cancel at any time, effective at the end of your paid term. We do not lock you into a notice period you did not agree to.
We may suspend an account for non-payment after notice and a grace period, or immediately where use threatens the security or lawful operation of the service.
Either of us may terminate for a material breach the other has not fixed within 30 days of being told about it.
On termination your export rights under clause 4 survive for the wind-down window.

11. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms; we will change the date above and notify account owners of material changes before they take effect. Continuing to use Klok after that means you accept them.

12. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of India, and the courts at our registered office have exclusive jurisdiction.
