Training & Learning
Training and learning management is in design. This page describes what we intend to build — it is not available today.
> This module is not built. Everything below describes what we intend to build. It is published so you can judge the direction before you buy — not to suggest the feature exists. What Klok does ship today is listed on the platform page.
A Record That Survives The Auditor
Who was trained, on what, by whom, and when it expires. Most training software is really a video player; the part that matters in a factory is the evidence that the training happened.
Tied To The Job, Not To A Wishlist
Required training driven by the role and the workplace, so a machine operator and an accountant do not see the same list.
Expiry That Raises Its Hand
Certifications lapse. The system should be telling you a month beforehand, not telling the auditor afterwards.
Built On Records You Already Have
Klok already knows every person, role, grade and workplace. A training module should not need its own copy of that.
Training & Learning FAQs
Can I use this today?
No. It is in design. Nothing described on this page is available in the product right now, and we would rather say so than have you discover it after signing up.
When will it be available?
We have not committed to a date, and we will not invent one. If training is a requirement for you, tell us on the contact form — what customers actually need is what moves up the queue.
What can I do in the meantime?
The document vault holds certificates against each employee record today, with AI reading and HR verification. That covers evidence-keeping, though not course delivery or scheduling.
Is training and learning available now?
It is on the roadmap, and the page says so. We would rather publish a roadmap item honestly than list a module that turns out to be a placeholder after you have signed.
Can we record training that happens outside the system?
Certifications and documents can be held against the employee record today, which covers the compliance question most businesses actually have — proving somebody was trained.
Can we switch this module off if we do not need it?
Yes. Modules are switched on per company and what is off is not billed. There is no bundle you have to buy through to reach the part you actually want.
Who can see this data inside our company?
Access follows the role you assign, and every company's data is isolated from every other company's by a boundary enforced in the software and covered by automated tests. Nobody at another company can reach yours.
Can we get our data out later?
At any time, without asking us, in usable formats. That is a deliberate commitment rather than a feature — a system you cannot leave is one you cannot trust with payroll.
Need this sooner?
Customer demand decides what we build next. Tell us what you need and how you would use it.
