Because most businesses are already keeping this data - just spread across four spreadsheets, a WhatsApp group and somebody's memory. A clean format costs nothing and prevents the two failures that actually hurt: a leave balance nobody can defend, and a full-and-final that arrives at a number without showing its working.
These are plain CSV on purpose. No macros, no locked cells, nothing that breaks when a column is added. Open them anywhere, change them to suit how you work, and keep using them whether or not you ever buy anything from us.
A word on what these are not. They are working templates, not a bulk-import format for Klok. If you do move onto Klok later, bring the sheets as they are and we will map them - that mapping is part of onboarding, not a task we hand back to you.
